Lean Sigma Green
Belt
Lean-Sigma is the
ground up integration of the Lean and
Six Sigma process improvement methodologies. The majority of Healthcare
processes aren't clearly defined, have no ownership, metrics and merely
evolved over time. Attendees learn the roadmaps and Green Belt tools to
dramatically improve processes that exhibit these characteristics.
Green Belts tend to work on smaller scoped projects than Black Belts
and their tool set is not as statistically based. Nevertheless, Green
Belts form the majority of the horsepower in all Lean-Sigma deployments.
Successful
deployments typically consist of Black Belts and
Green Belts running projects across the business. Allocate those tricky
projects to Black Belts, but rely on Green Belts to resolve the
majority of problem areas.
